At the Phoinix Corporation, we understand the environmental, social, and economic value of sustainability and low impact development.
Characterized as a sustainable stormwater practice, Low Impact Development or "LID" that aims to treat stormwater runoff as a resource rather than a waste product. Low Impact Development services also typically attempts to work with existing landscapes as much as possible, or recreates them where needed. When managed properly through Low Impact Development Services, the impact of developed areas to the local watersheds or ecosystems can be minimized.
Often considered part of "green infrastructure" LID can be applied to new construction, compact urban environments as well as remote environments intending to maintain their wild nature while still harboring built structures and some development.
